Pure FM

Pure FM is an online radio station that describes itself as the sound of the underground, built on the foundations of pirate radio. Its shows cover house, garage, jungle, drum and bass and deep, soulful sounds.

It is not to be confused with Pure FM in Portsmouth, the University of Portsmouth's student station.

Bristol DJ Chrissie Mac holds a regular show on Pure FM. She is a house specialist with residencies at Motion and Document, whose sets take in old-school house, UK garage and Afrobeats.

This Halloween Pure FM takes over After Dark for Bristol's garage Halloween, a full night of garage and speed garage. The line-up is Chrissie Mac, Jakobin, Twaine Plummer and Blite, with two more DJs still to be revealed. The promise is deep rollers, heavy basslines and a dark, stripped-back atmosphere, with no gimmicks and no filler.

It runs 9pm to 3:30am, with tickets from £5 and early drinks deals before 11pm.
