Funkulator

Funkulator is a Bristol tech house party and label created by DJ Ethan King, and its home is the Attic Bar at The Full Moon on Stokes Croft.

Ethan King co-founded Funkulator and is also a resident at Stepped. He has played Boomtown and Boardmasters, and his sound is contemporary tech house with a big dose of 90s house influence. Funkulator's Bandcamp lists releases including "FUNK TRAXX" and "Disrespect".

On 6 November Funkulator returns to the Attic Bar to launch its official record label. The crew describe it as a new chapter: a platform to shape their sound, champion the music they believe in and give back to the city that inspired them. They say the project was built from the dancefloor and fuelled by the people who come to the parties.

The launch party is tech house from 9pm to 2am, and physical ID is required for entry.

King also plays After Dark's Casa Disco on 24 October.
