Quantic meets Firmly Rooted Soundsystem

Globe-trotting multi-instrumentalist and producer Quantic returns to Bristol for a winter headline show at the Trinity Centre, played through the Firmly Rooted Soundsystem.

Quantic is the project of Will Holland, who works as a songwriter, musician, producer and sound engineer. His discography runs more than 20 years deep, from solo productions and intimate collaborations to big ensemble projects. He is known for engaging with local scenes and cultures around the world, from Colombia to the Caribbean, and whatever the style, the Quantic stamp stands for soul-enriching music.

Ruby Savage, a DJ and culture curator, plays support with warm, eclectic grooves and straight-up pumping beats.

Firmly Rooted is a big sound system rig, which suits the Trinity Centre's history as one of Bristol's great sound system venues. The Grade II* listed former church in Lawrence Hill has hosted dub, ska, jungle and the Bristol Sound since the 1970s.
