Eminent A/W Series: Fumiya Tanaka

Japanese DJ Fumiya Tanaka plays Moon Club as part of Eminent's autumn/winter series, in a night the hosts say is built around sound and space.
Fumiya Tanaka is one of techno's most respected DJs. He came up in Japan in the 1990s, and his long, minimal, hypnotic sets are known for being patient, precise and deeply absorbing. Expect a night that slowly builds rather than one built on peaks.
For the whole series, Moon Club is bringing back the upgraded four-point L-Acoustics setup from Eminent's 10th birthday. Support is still to be announced.
Tickets were £6 early bird and £10 general release. A limited number of £20 series passes give entry to all three Eminent A/W Series events.
Moon Club is the 220-capacity standalone room inside Lakota on Upper York Street, between Stokes Croft and St Pauls, with its own bar and low ceiling. It is a long night: 11pm to 5am. 18+.
