Motive Raves

Motive Raves runs SuperMotive, which bills itself as the UK's biggest and best 16+ rave series. Its events give 16 and 17 year olds a safe, alcohol-free way to experience big-name DJs and full club production.

In Bristol, SuperMotive built its name with sell-out shows at Motion, including an outdoor finale in July 2025, shortly before Motion left its Avon Street home. It has since moved to Document.

The rules are strict and taken seriously. Events are for ages 16 to 18 only. 18-year-olds can attend only with friends from the same school year, and are not served alcohol. Physical ID is required, bag searches and pat-downs are a condition of entry, and anyone found with drugs or under their influence is refused, with parents called and police informed.

The next Bristol show is the SuperMotive 16+ Halloween Rave at Document on 28 October, with Shy FX and Emily Makis. It runs 6pm to 10pm, with last entry at 7pm.
