The Gallimaufry

The Gallimaufry, or "the Galli", is a small bar and restaurant at 26–28 Gloucester Road with live music and Bristol DJs most nights. Since opening in 2012 it has become a strong part of the city's music scene, and entry is always free.
The week has a set rhythm. Monday is open mic, a staple for anyone wanting to showcase their craft. Tuesdays and Wednesdays bring new bands, jams, residencies and occasional touring acts. Thursday is Grrrl Crush, a night championing women, non-binary and LGBTQ+ people in music. Fridays are B2B sessions with some of Bristol's finest heritage DJs, Saturdays are the eclectic vinyl grooves of More Soup!, and Sundays have Family Business, an improvised hip hop jam hosted by MĀDŁY.
Past residents include Snazzback, Waldo's Gift, MĀDŁY, George Ezra, Fenne Lily and Bad Sounds.
This week's DJ nights include Jabani b2b Chiedza on 23 October and Idle Hands Records' Chris Farrell on 24 October.
