Naughty Parrot presents Bristol Takeover

After sold-out nights in London and Manchester, Naughty Parrot brings its party to Bristol's Moon Club.

The night is an intimate room soundtracked by house, disco, garage, UK funky and high-energy vocal dance music, with live elements through the night and a mix of emerging and established DJs. The organisers say people at their London event kept comparing it to Pikes in Ibiza.

The ethos is "no egos": a house-party atmosphere and a dancefloor of people who came for the music. That fits Moon Club's no-phones policy.

Naughty Parrot is also built around giving new DJs a chance. It says it has received more than 1,000 DJ applications worldwide, and it runs a DJ showcase in each city offering paid slots.

Moon Club is a 220-capacity standalone room inside Lakota on Upper York Street, with a quadraphonic L-Acoustics 360° sound system and its own bar. Doors at 9pm. 18+.
