Drawn Out x Distant Audio: Truly Madly

Bristol promoters Drawn Out and Distant Audio join forces for a Halloween-themed night at The Island with UK garage and house DJ Truly Madly.

Truly Madly runs the Mindhelmet label. Fresh from his annual Dimensions Festival set, this is his first Bristol show since 2023. Dashy is also on the bill.

The Island is set inside the old Bridewell Police Station, and the party takes over the original prison cells, corridors and hidden rooms. The hosts promise a big sound system, treated acoustics and full Halloween decor, all squeezed into an intimate space of around 300 people.

The building has been run by arts charity Artspace Lifespace since 2008 and is home to more than 100 resident artists by day. After dark it hosts some of the city's more experimental club nights. Note that the venue is underground and not wheelchair accessible.

Doors are at 10pm, last entry 12:30am, and it runs to 4am. 18+.
